Definition of Sustainability

a) Humanity is unique on earth because it has hope, which simultaneously looks at the journey behind and in front of us. The past gives us perspective and the future presents us with choice. Whatever path we travel, we will always find ourselves at the center of a circle - seeing only to the edge of our horizons (i.e. the past and future).

b) Sustainability is the thought process and outcome of the evaluation of circumstances at the center of our circle. It requires constant revision in order to reach the horizon with humility and responsibility. It is the way to connect the mind, body, and soul in our daily actions and journey through life.

c) The approximate distance to the visible horizon, at sea level, is 2 Miles.
